- Purifying Oleic Acid: Oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid) is extracted from organic high oleic acid sunflower meal. The sunflower oil is broken down to separate the oleic acid from its glycerol backbone. Store ProdromeNeuro plasmalogen liquid oil in the refrigerator when you receive it and after opening to maintain freshness. ProdromeNeuro can be kept at room temperature, but we recommend to store in the fridge for freshness. All other supplements can be stored in a cool, dry place.
ProdromeNeuro plasmalogen oil has a shelf life of 18 months prior to opening (once opened it is best to use within 30 days). ProdromeGlia plasmalogen oil has a shelf life of 24 months (once opened it is best to use within 90 days). The ProdromeNeuro and ProdromeGlia softgels have a shelf life of 24 months.
All of the oils have a manufacturing date printed on the bottle and this should not be confused with an expiration date.
